The Sisters Schools Foundation was established by community members who believed that a great education is one of the greatest investments a community can make. When local schools needed additional resources beyond public funding, the people of Sisters stepped forward, not by waiting for others to solve the problem, but by working together to create new opportunities for students.

That spirit of generosity and action continues to define the Foundation today. Since launching the Starry Nights Concert Series in 1997, the Foundation has raised nearly $1 million to support classroom innovation, student enrichment, educator grants, scholarships, and programs that enhance learning across Sisters School District. Every contribution helps provide experiences and opportunities that go beyond what traditional school funding can provide.

The Foundation is built on the belief that education thrives when an entire community invests in its students. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, local businesses, and community partners, the Foundation continues to strengthen educational opportunities while helping prepare today's students for tomorrow's future.

Committed to making a lasting impact, the Foundation also invests in its future by placing a portion of unrestricted donations into an endowment fund. This long-term commitment helps ensure that future generations of Outlaw students will continue to benefit from the community's dedication to educational excellence.
