The Superintendent's Office provides leadership and strategic direction for Sisters School District while supporting the work of the School Board of Directors, district leadership, schools, and staff. We also invite community members to join us for the Superintendent's Coffee, typically held on the first Wednesday of each month at 9:00 AM at the District Office. These informal gatherings are an opportunity to learn about what's happening across Sisters School District, hear updates on district initiatives, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversation. While individual personnel matters cannot be discussed, we welcome your interest, ideas, and partnership as we work together to support our students and schools.

The Superintendent's Coffee is typically held on the first Wednesday of each month at 9:00 AM at the District Office. While individual personnel or student matters cannot be discussed in this public setting, all are welcome to attend and learn more about the work happening across Sisters School District.

Sisters School District encourages open communication and believes that most questions, concerns, or misunderstandings can be resolved through respectful conversation at the level closest to the issue.
If you have a concern, we recommend following the district's Public Complaint process:
- Contact the staff member most directly involved.
- If the concern is not resolved, contact the school principal or department supervisor.
- If additional assistance is needed, contact the Superintendent's Office.
- If the matter remains unresolved after completing these steps, it may be brought to the School Board of Directors in accordance with district policy.
Following this process helps ensure concerns are addressed by the individuals most familiar with the situation and provides an opportunity for issues to be resolved as quickly and effectively as possible. If you would like to request a public record, we encourage you to follow the district's Public Records Request process by submitting your request to the Superintendent's Office. Following this process helps ensure requests are handled consistently, efficiently, and in compliance with state law.

Community members are welcome to attend School Board meetings and provide public comment during the designated public comment portion of each regular meeting. Individuals wishing to speak should sign up on the public comment sign-in sheet prior to the start of the meeting. Public comments are limited to three minutes per speaker.
