Sisters School District is committed to responsible stewardship of public resources through transparent financial planning and reporting. This page provides access to the district's adopted budgets and audited financial statements, offering insight into how public funds are planned, managed, and used to support students, staff, and schools.

The adopted budget reflects the district's financial priorities and planned expenditures for each fiscal year. Before adoption, the proposed budget undergoes a thorough public review by the Budget Committee, consisting of the five elected School Board members and six appointed community members. The committee carefully reviews the proposed budget, asks questions, and evaluates expenditures before recommending its adoption during the annual Budget Hearing, held in early June. The district's annual independent audit provides additional assurance that financial records are accurate and comply with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
