Student Services Overview

Student Services

Student Services provides a wide range of programs and direct services that support the academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and developmental success of students across Sisters School District. While these services are available to all students, they are especially important for students experiencing challenges that may create barriers to learning. Support is provided through a variety of services, including individualized instruction, consultation, counseling, assessment, and collaboration with families, educators, and community partners. Student Services also provides staff training, parent education, program coordination, and leadership that strengthen student support systems across the district.

The Sisters School District is committed to meeting the changing needs of our students by working closely with families and embracing the unique strengths, backgrounds, and individual differences of every learner. We believe every student deserves the opportunity to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally, and we strive to provide the support needed to help each student reach their fullest potential. Student Services are available at every school, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Whether you're looking for information about Special Education, Section 504 accommodations, Talented & Gifted (TAG) services, English Language Learning (ELL), Family Access Network (FAN), McKinney-Vento support, or answers to common questions, this section provides resources to help students and families access the services available throughout Sisters School District.

Our Commitment to Every Student

Every student brings unique strengths, talents, experiences, and aspirations to school each day. We are committed to recognizing those individual needs and working alongside families to remove barriers to learning while creating opportunities for every student to thrive.

Through individualized support, inclusive practices, meaningful family partnerships, and collaboration with educators and community organizations, we strive to ensure every student feels known, valued, supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

We believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
