Board of Directors

Board of Directors

The Sisters School Board provides the leadership and governance that help shape the future of our district. Comprised of five locally elected community members, the Board establishes district policies, adopts the annual budget, sets strategic priorities, hires and evaluates the superintendent, and ensures accountability for student success. Working collaboratively with district leadership and the community, the Board is committed to thoughtful decision-making that supports high-quality educational opportunities for every student.

The Board also values transparency, public engagement, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources. Through public meetings, policy development, and long-range planning, Board Directors work to ensure the district remains responsive to the needs of students, families, staff, and the Sisters community.

Our Commitment to Effective Governance

We believe strong governance creates strong schools. The Sisters School Board is committed to leading with integrity, transparency, accountability, and a student-centered focus. By listening to our community, making thoughtful decisions, planning for the future, and responsibly stewarding public resources, we strive to create the conditions that allow every student, educator, and school to thrive.

Through ethical leadership and responsible governance, we are committed to building trust, strengthening our schools, and serving the Sisters community for generations to come.
