School Portals

Navigating school technology for the first time as a parent can feel overwhelming, especially when there are several different portals, apps, and logins involved. We understand that it may seem like “one more thing” to learn, and many families wonder why everything cannot simply be in one place. Our district has worked hard to streamline systems as much as possible; however, each portal serves a specific purpose and is designed to support a different aspect of your child’s school experience. The good news is that once families become familiar with these tools, they provide convenient online access to grades, communication, assignments, payments, meals, and other important school
information. The following will help explain the purpose of each portal used throughout our district and provides access to each portal.

StudentVUE
Student information portal: Gives students access to their grades, attendance, schedules, report cards, and other information.
Canvas
Online classroom portal: The online classroom where students can find assignments, class materials, teacher messages, and submit work.
Clever (SES only)
Student learning portal: A dashboard where students can quickly access all of their school learning apps, websites, and online tools with one login.
ParentSquare
School communication portal: Used by the district and schools to send announcements, reminders, messages, forms, and emergency notifications to families.
InTouch
Online payment portal: Allows families to pay school fees, fines, athletic costs, and other school-related payments online.
LINQ Connect
School meal account portal: Helps families manage school meal accounts, add lunch money, and view cafeteria purchases.
Outlaw Community Portal
Community connection portal: A hub where parents and community members can apply to become volunteers, sign up as partners or sponsors, and register as alumni.
